Description

This is the newest version of Persona cut-in/close up featuring Anipoke characters. The cut-in style is all-new inspired from Persona 5, new kana sign, and tarot card symbolization.

For most part of the drawing, I did the close-up faces from scratch. The tarot card part however WASN'T by me, but I will give thanks to Enetirnel for remaking the tarot card in higher resolution which can be found here: enetirnel.deviantart.com/galle…. Despite with the new cut-in graphic, the card is still from the old games. The arcana in the background is written in French and English.

Character order (in rows and columns):

Ash (Fool), Brock (Magician), Misty (Empress)
May (Chariot), Max (Emperor), Dawn (Priestess)
Serena (Lovers), Clemont (Justice), Bonnie (Star)
Iris (Strength), Cilan (Wheel of Fortune)

Ash (The Fool)
Symbolism: Innocence, divine inspiration, madness, freedom, spontaneity, inexperience, chaos, and creativity.
Reason: He is the main hero of the series. He is known for his self journey forge bond with friends and Pokemon.

Brock (Magician)
Symbolism: Action, initiative, self-confidence, manipulation and power.
Reason: Despite being the oldest and the wisest of the gang, he is actually the first male travel companion of Ash and typically the perverted male characters for hitting random women. Despite of this, he does not have a long-term canon romantic couple as an ongoing theme of that arcana.

Misty (Empress)
Symbolism: Mothers, prosperity, creativity, sexuality, abundance, fertility and comfort.
Reason: She is the first travel companion of Ash, and taught Ash the basic of battles. She is also known for a very hotheaded female authority like asking for bike replacement. Later, since having baby Pokemon like Togepi and later Azurill, she become motherly to them.

May (Chariot)
Symbolism: Victory, conquest, self-assertion, control, war and command.
Reason: She has a very driven personality and aiming for the top Pokemon Coordinator at any cost. However, She can also be aggressive and short-tempered when things got in trouble like stolen food and embarassing stories.

Max (Emperor)
Symbolism: The desire to control one's surroundings, and its appearance could suggest that one is trying too hard to achieve this.
Reason: A very knowledgeable boy whose learn from the books and has a caring attitude towards his sister despite his age, but sometimes troubled when something gets into him.

Dawn (High Priestess)
Symbolism: Hidden knowledge or other untapped power, wisdom, female mystery and patience
Reason: A very intelligent Pokemon Coordinator using move combinations to her advantage in battles, as well as teaching Ash the latter and other tricks. She is very reserved and quiet as well.

Serena (Lovers)
Symbolism: A symbol of love and romantic relationships, finding agreement with an ordinary friend and even two conflicting elements within.
Reason: She has a high emphasis on social interaction with friends. Notably she has a legitimate romantic interest in the protagonist, in this case Ash.

Clemont (Justice)
Symbolism: A strict allegory of justice, objectivity, rationality and analysis.
Reason: Highly responsible and caring towards his little sister and analytical on his (albeit many failed) inventions, but sometimes stoic.

Bonnie (Star)
Symbolism: Hope, self-confidence, faith, altruism, luck, generosity, peace and joy.
Reason: She has consistently hopefulness and joy personality, playing with Pokemon often.

Iris (Strength)

Symbolism: Morality about the stronger power of self-control, gentleness, courage and virtue over brute force.
Reason: She has several struggles like a hard training to become Dragon-type master. Particularly two formerly disobedient Pokemon (although one of them isn't a part Dragon).

Cilan (Wheel of Fortune)
Symbolism: Fate and varying luck, fortunes and opportunities.
Reason: As an expert Pokemon Connoisseur, he almost always make an evaluation between Pokemon and humans, albeit with some food puns.

Possible party skills: (I can only tell the basics)

Brock: Garu, Magaru, Physical (all, mainly multi-hit), Dia, Sukukaja, Counter, Sharp Student
Misty: Aqua, Malaqua, Physical (single only), Dia & Media, Recarm, Rakunda
May: Tera, Matera, Physical (all-out), Tarukaja, Power Charge
Max: Zio, Mazio, Physical (all-out), Rakukaja, Apt Pupil, Dia
Dawn: Bufu, Mabufu, Dia & Media (Inc. Salvation), Recarm, Sukunda
Serena: Agi, Maragi, some Ailments, Dia, Mind Charge, Tarunda
Clemont: Kouha, Makouha, Hama, Zio, Gun (single only), Dia & Media, Debilitate, Happy Trigger
Iris: Eiha, Maeiha, Mudo, Agi, Physical (multi-target only), Tetra & Makra, Heat Riser, Crisis Resolve
Cilan: Megido, Bufu, Garu, Tera, Aqua, Physical & Gun (only the latter can target all)
